Pine Springs Customers,

We are pleased to announce that we are open and ready for play. Due to the Smith County order to “Stay at Home” we are immediately implementing some advanced policies and procedures to keep our customers and staff safe.

Our primary concern is the health and safety of our guests and employees, and in light of recent coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, we wanted to let you know that we are adding to our cleaning and disinfecting procedures.

THE GOLF COURSE WILL REMAIN OPEN UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.

In order to continue social distancing and keep everything sanitary, the clubhouse will be closed. The check in process will be done in the front of the building for at least the next two weeks. During the check in process, it is mandatory to adhere to the social distancing protocols and stand at least 6 feet away from the person in line. Additional restrooms are now available outside the clubhouse as well as on the course.

We are encouraging the “Park and Play” program in which no face to face transaction is necessary.  You can pre-pay for your round by phone or on our website at www.pinespringsgolf.com If you choose to take advantage of this option, simply check in with the pro shop staff at the front of the building, and then head to #1 tee. If you do need to pay on site, we ask you to use a card only, no cash.

We will continue to disinfect golf cart surfaces prior to use. We will focus on steering wheels, arm rests, hand holds on roofs, bag straps and any other areas that customer touch frequently. We will be leaving golf cart keys in the cart and in the ON position to avoid unnecessary contact with others. Also, all items have been removed from the golf carts (sand bottles, pencils, and scorecards) to avoid unnecessary touching.

On the course, we have flipped the cups over to avoid reaching down into the hole. We do ask that you please leave the pin in place at all times.

We have removed all golf course coolers, if you need a drink, please ask pro shop staff for a complimentary water. We have also removed all bunker rakes, please smooth out divots as best you can with your foot.

The driving range will remain closed until further notice. The putting/chipping green is still open for use, however the cups are also flipped over for your protection.

We will not be serving any food, only pre-packaged snacks and drinks are available upon request.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidelines of Smith County and The CDC (Center for Disease Control). Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We hope these changes will help you feel comfortable and safe while enjoying your round.

Sincerely,

Pine Springs Golf Club
